Sketched Storyboard

Location Plan Poster

I created this poster to show the locations I am planning to use. As my film focuses on two different people’s lives I felt it was appropriate that I use two central locations. I am hoping to use London and Brighton. I have chosen these two locations as felt that they contrast well as London is very modern so I hope to use that as the present time in the film and Brighton as the past time in the film as Brighton is more dated. Whilst filming in London I am hoping to film in a vintage store and a modern flat. Both of these will be as modern and bright as possible to show that the story is filmed at the present time. Whereas when I film Brighton I hope to film in more dated location which has a dark natural lighting. In Brighton I want to film in a shed and an over grown field. Both of these locations will be captured in a dark light which will represent that danger and horrific events are approaching. I will also add desaturation to show that this piece of film is in the past.

Costume Influence Poster

I created a quick poster which represents the style that I am aiming for. I want the costumes to be in the style of 1960s and I feel that this poster displays that style well.I include Jean Shrimpton as the central image as I feel she was a fashion icon at that time and she influenced the style of clothing in the 1960s so when choosing my characters costumes.

Header

I have chosen this header as I felt the image portrayed the location of my film well whilst producing an eerie atmosphere, making the blog appear slightly sinister.I am aiming to create the same effect in my theatrical trailer.I have personally edited the image.I did this by adjusting the lighting to make the image darker, whilst removing most of the colour to make the location appear more mysterious.I then went on to add text to the image. I placed the text at the top to ensure it was easily noticed.I then added a 62% opacity and a soft to the text to make it blend into the image layers.I used a Trajan Pro typeface at 24pt. This particular typeface is very basic and I used it because of the definition on the shouldering of the characters. This makes the type appear more translucent and neat.
